Our Beginning

A journey rooted in compassion

Founded in 2025, Ummah was born from a simple yet powerful idea: that every human being deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope. What began as a small group of volunteers distributing food to local families has grown into a wider movement touching lives in the communities.

Our name, Ummah, meaning “community” in Arabic, which stands for United Mercy Mission for Aiding Humanity reflects our core belief that we are all connected. When one person suffers, we all feel it. When one person rises, we all celebrate. This interconnectedness drives everything we do.

Today, we work tirelessly to address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and suffering through sustainable, community-led initiatives that create lasting change.
